The ride quality is unmatched, but the mudguards could be sturdier. Had to adjust them a couple of times. Still, a great bike overall.

I had almost given up on cycling, but the Impala has rekindled my love for it. The range is just incredible.

Loving the smooth ride and sturdy frame! I just wish it had a faster charge time, but overall, a solid choice for urban biking.

I have not ridden a bike since two years, and I took to this thing like a fish into water. The box came with all the accessories you might need, which was a very nice touch, (Hex key set, with screw driver, ect,) I’ll start with the positives! The throttle is incredibly handy to get a head start without needing your pedals in the “sweet spot” that most cyclists with a traditional bike would need. As this is a 32 kg bike you would think that using it without the electric assist is impossible but this is far from the case. On a straight-ish terrain (no grass/ect) you can switch it off and ride around pedestrians and park areas with no worries. Infact I would say that to keep your speed safe and slow using the throttle is extremely handy as by pedaling at all you will start to stream ahead quite quickly which is something to keep aware of. On the flipside if you need to shift this thing has five different effective power settings which could suit your needs depending on the terrain. It is a very stable vehicle like previously mentioned. I haven’t touched a bike for two years and haven’t had the slightest stability issue except when coming to a stand still which takes some getting used to.Which leads to my single few negatives so far: As someone who is 5’8, I can easily mount this bike, but if I were say.. 5’4 or something of that nature I think it would be rather difficult to stop the bike and keep it balanced at a stop. When they call it “Big Game Bike” They really mean it. I would struggle to recommend it if someone were under my height as this is currently on the lowest settings for both the seat, and the handlebars for me, Let alone someone shorter.Secondly, and this may sound rather naive but I am incredibly unfamiliar with bike setups in general. I think it would be a very nice touch if it would be possible to have a comprehensive “Out the box setup” video for those who aren’t mechanically minded like myself. That’s it. Thank you for reading!
